Frequently asked questions
Who is ELDT Systems for?
Anyone who trains drivers: CDL schools, teen and adult driver's ed, school bus, transit and motorcoach, trucking and city fleets, ambulance and fire, and police departments.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Scores are kept on the phone when the signal drops and sent when it comes back.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Each school gets its own link. On a phone, choose Add to Home screen and it opens like an app.
Can we use our own score sheets?
Yes. Start with the ready-made Class A and Class B sheets or build your own sections, items and score key for any vehicle.
How does the stop clock work?
Each section has a Start clock button beside its minutes. The record lists every start and end time with the total, and the trainer can type over the minutes if needed.
Can a student sign later?
Yes. A student who could not sign at the end of a session can sign any saved session from their own login.
Does ELDT Systems report to the Training Provider Registry?
Not yet. It keeps the record and flags anything the TPR certification asks for that is missing. Your school submits the certification on FMCSA's TPR website.
Does ELDT Systems change anything in our Moodle site?
No. The connector only reads students, grades, completion and quiz results.
We don't use Moodle. Can we still connect our LMS?
Yes. Moodle is connected today, and we work with most every LMS. Tell us which one you use and we'll set up the connection with you.
We don't have an LMS. Can we still use ELDT Systems?
Yes. We can custom-build an import that works with your existing data sources, such as spreadsheets, exports from other software or paper files, or you can type students in yourself.
Who can see our records?
Only your school. Each school has its own private database, and staff and students sign in with their own username and PIN.

Apply online and confirm your email. We review every new school and email you when your account is ready, or call 1-814-304-7635.
